serial #1813A, 22 LR, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This rifle has a 12-35 dated Springfield barrel and retains 97% of an armory parkerized finish that has some very minor fading at the muzzle and on the edges of the front sight base and triggerguard. The M2 bolt is finished bright and the original Lyman 48C rear sight is mated to a replacement Lyman globe front with single insert. The walnut stock has been refinished to excellent condition with almost no handling marks and still crisp "P (in circle)" and "S.A./R" stamps. The rifle comes with a single M2 magazine and has a Safariland leather target sling installed. This is an excellent arsenal conversion of an M1922 to M2 specs and should prove a tack-driver.
