serial #13741, 12ga., 30" barrels, un-choked with bright excellent bores showing only small remnants of light pitting in the left tube. The barrels retain about 98% nice quality star damascus pattern with the only real area of wear on the left tube above the forend. The frame retains perhaps 95% slightly muting original case colors, with the area of fading being the carry point of the frame. The lockplates retain about 98% original case colors which are still rather vivid. The checkered capped pistol grip English walnut stock rates about excellent with only minor handling marks and dings, darkening somewhat near the action. The forend rates about very good as well with minor handling marks and a 1" sliver missing from its right rear edge. Length of pull to the original Lefever Arms Company hard rubber buttplate is 14" with drops of 1 3/4" and 3". Lockup is tight and the mechanism seems to function well. Features push-button forend release and pivoting top lever. A solid F-grade overall. (34290-42) {ANTIQUE} (1500/2000) SOLD FOR $1265.00
