serial #7799, 45 LC, 5 1/2" barrel with an about very good bore showing some light pitting throughout. All printing is clear and legible on this mixed number artillery revolver. The triggerguard and grip frame are numbered 131777. The barrel and cylinder are not numbered but both are "R.A.C." inspected. The metal surfaces retain about 95% of an older added chrome finish with some light dings, scratches, and a few faint specks of pin prick pitting under the finish. The hammer retains 93% or an old added blue finish. The ejector rod housing was reblued as well but has since been cleaned and has a grayish patina with light dings and traces of the blue finish in the protected areas. The checkered hard rubber grips are obviously off of a later manufactured revolver and rate excellent fitting poorly (oversized on this revolver). The front sight appears to be a newer replacement. A few of the screw heads show slot wear. (3474-193) {ANTIQUE} (1200/1600)
