141. Winchester Model 42 “Skeet” Slide Action Shotgun
serial #59036, .410 bore, 26" donut post ventilated rib barrel choked skeet (nicely re-marked) with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain about 99% excellent quality later blue finish, likely done by Simmons Gun Specialties. The barrel wears a donut-post style "Simmons Gun Specialties Inc." marked rib, neither barrel nor receiver show factory proofs. The rib wears dual silver beads. The checkered walnut pistolgrip skeet grade buttstock rates excellent and is equipped with a steel pistolgrip cap and a 70s era buttplate. The skeet grade extended semi-beavertail style forearm rates excellent as well and features intertwined double diamond checkered panels on the bottom of the forend.
