serial #59461, 30-06, 22" barrel with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain about 98% original bright blue. The checkered European walnut Monte Carlo stock rates excellent and shows a flared shadowline cheekpiece, nicely checkered panels and a 1" ventilated recoil pad. Amenities on this Stoeger-imported rifle include butterknife style bolt handle, double set triggers, sliding tang safety, and two leaf rear sight (one standing, one folding). The gun has been professionally drilled and tapped for steel scope bases and is currently fitted with Redfield bases and 1" rings which mount a Redfield 3 x 9 rifle scope with crosshair reticle and excellent optics.
