2. Moore's Patent Arms Company Single Action Belt Revolver
serial #4780, 32 rf, 5" octagon barrel with a very good bore. This revolver is in very nice condition. The frame bears nice loose relief scroll engraving with nice accents on backstrap. The barrel and cylinder retain about 15% original blue finish with the balance bearing a lovely smooth and even brown patina. The frame retains about 97% original silver plated finish which bears a pleasing medium gray tarnish. The one piece walnut grips rate excellent with 95% original varnish remaining.
