serial #93, .41 caliber, 8" part round part octagon barrel with a very good to excellent bright bore. This is a lovely antique Smith & Wesson pistol that is missing some significant parts. The missing parts include the right sideplate, right grip, lever, lifter, bolt, toggle link, magazine spring and front sight/magazine collar retainer. What is present is the frame, left sideplate, left grip, barrel, magazine collar, hammer, main spring, trigger and rear sight. The condition of this revolver is very nice which is what makes this such a shame. The barrel retains over 50% evenly thinning original blue finish. The frame which features lovely open period scroll engraving bears a pleasing gray brown patina with generous traces of original blue in protected areas. There is one patch of pitting on rear portion of left sideplate. The rosewood grip rates very good plus with most of its original finish remaining and with one small chip from heel. There are two holes in the forward section of the left sideplate which may or may not be original. A rare and neat Smith & Wesson relic. (3114-19) {ANTIQUE} (1500/2000) SOLD FOR $4140.00
