serial #48254, 45-90 Win., 28" round barrel with an excellent bore. This 1890 manufactured rifle has been completely reconditioned by Doug Turnbull in 2002 and retains all of its finish with just a few light handling marks. The barrel is likely a modern manufactured upgrade along with the select walnut stocks. The barrel, full length magazine tube, breechblock, and smooth steel shotgun buttplate are blue finished while the loading gate cover has a bright fire blue finish.
