serial #4K82845, 22 Jet with auxiliary 22 LR cylinder, 8 3/8" barrel with a bright excellent bore. This 45 plus year old three screw revolver appears to be a transitional specimen marked as a Model 53 (not a 53-2) while using the improved three screw frame (no longer having the fourth screw located at the front of the triggerguard). Both of these changes took place in 1962. The metal surfaces retain 99% original high luster blue finish with a light cylinder ring and a few light scratches on the triggerguard. The target hammer and smooth combat trigger retain excellent original case-color mellowing slightly on the trigger. The checkered diamond center target style walnut grips with factory medallions rate near excellent with a few light dings. This revolver features a red ramp insert front sight and white outline adjustable rear sight. Included with this revolver is the original two piece blue cardboard box with treated paper wrapping, papers, six nickel plated steel inserts, fluted screwdriver, and cleaning accessories. (2485-13) {C&R} (1200/1600) SOLD FOR $1955.00
