serial #B1351, 30-06, 22" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a lovely rifle which retains 98% of the original parkerized finish with only very mild silvering along some of the exposed edges and the mouth of the ventilated barrel shroud. All markings are crisp and clear and the rear sight elevator still retains all of the original yellow paint within the stamped range numerals. The wooden stock and forend retain nearly all of the original oil finish and have only a few very minor handling marks scattered about, mostly on the buttstock. This is a wonderful opportunity for the World War II collector to own a nearly new example of the Garand's closest competitor. (2543-1) {C&R} [See item #482 for bayonet] (6000/8000) SOLD FOR $6325.00
