serial #11055, 44-40, 6 1/2" barrel with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces on this superb frontier target retain about 99% plus original nickel finish which is vivid showing only one extremely minor discolored spot on the barrel's left side, the nickel is fully intact and the discoloration is very very slight; there is the very beginning of a very light cylinder ring. The sight and trigger guard show all the original factory blue, case color on hammer and trigger is vivid. The front sight blade is a factory Lyman style with white bead, the rear sight blade is adjustable and features horizontal ivory inserts on both sides of the aperture. The checkered black hard rubber grips rate excellent, they are numbered to the gun. The brown hinge-top cardboard box rates near excellent with only a couple minor seam separations; it is unnumbered.
