serial #272511, 22 Lr, 24" barrel with a bright excellent "Winchester counterbore" bore. Metal surfaces on this lovely little rifle retain about 99% plus original blue, the only real loss being very light action bar and slide handle wear. The receiver is factory grooved for scope rings, an interesting inclusion on a smoothbore gun. The smooth walnut pistol grip buttstock and flat bottomed 17 groove forend rate excellent. There is the tiniest amount of extremely light surface oxidation at the rear of the ejection port. This is really a stellar example missing only its factory box.
