Remington Vest Pocket Pistol
serial #4809, 41 RF, 4" part round part octagon barrel with a very good bore. The barrel of this pistol retains an even gray patina with some scattered light surface oxidation. The frame retains about 75% original silver plated finish which has tarnished to a dark blue color. Fire blue on hammer and split breechblock is about 60%. The spring which actuates the breechblock is either broken or missing, otherwise the pistol functions fine. The two-piece rosewood grips rate near excellent with about 80% original finish remaining.
