Metal surfaces retain about 98% bright original blue finish, the loss due to action bar wear and some minor scratches and dings on the magazine tube support. The smooth walnut pistol grip butt and flat-bottom 14 groove forend rate near excellent showing only minor dings and dents from light use. Lockup is tight.
