Matched Pair of Colt 1851 Navy Lee-Grant Commemorative Revolvers

This pair of second generation percussion revolvers in 36 caliber are 37 years old and serial numbered “194GLP” and 194LGP”. Both revolvers have polished blue finished 7 1/2" octagon barrels and roll engraved cylinders, color casehardened hammers and frames, sterling silver plated triggerguards and grip frames with russet orange colored one piece hardwood grips. The silver plated finish is gaining a pleasing light tarnish. One revolver is marked “Ulysses S. Grant” and the other “Robert E. Lee”. Both revolvers are in as new condition with their hinge top walnut presentation case, two cap tins, a combination brass bullet mould, powder flask and L shaped combination tool.
