serial #86923, 410 bore, 28" solid rib barrel choked skeet with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain 96-97% original blue finish with the wear chiefly visible around the carrier, on receiver belly and high edges. The checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and the checkered forend show handsome figure and rate near excellent showing scattered minor finish scratches. Buttplate is likely an appropriate replacement. Year of manufacture is 1950. A nice 42 with attractive wood. (2189-1) {C&R} (2500/3500) SOLD FOR $4312.50
