Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun

serial #62648, .410 bore, 28" plain barrel choked full with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces on this nice little slide action shotgun retain about 98% original blue, the loss due to some action bar and magazine tube wear, as well as some light high edge wear. The smooth pistolgrip buttstock and flat-bottomed 14 groove forend rate excellent with only a few very light handling marks. This is an absolutely lovely little model 42 and would be fine afield or in the collection. Manufactured 1947. (2176-3) {C&R} (1000/1500) SOLD FOR $1840.00
