Starr Model 1858 Double Action Army Revolver

serial #19408, 44 caliber, 6" barrel with a very good bright bore having some light pitting present. This revolver is in very fine condition. The metal surfaces retain 55-60% original blue finish with the loss being due primarily to flaking. The areas of the metal where the finish has flaked off bear a pleasing smooth brown patina with a speck or two of older rust or light pitting. The hammer and loading lever retain strong original case colors. The one-piece walnut grip rates excellent with crisp cartouches on both sides and light handling marks present.
