serial #66077, 9mm, 4 21/32" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This unslotted pistol is equipped with a tangent rear sight and has matching numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel. The metal retains about 95-97% of the original blue with some fading at the muzzle and along the projecting edges, most noticeably the top radius of the slide. Additionally, some very minor pinprick pitting can be seen toward the front of the frame on the underside. Crisp Waffenamt markings are visible on the left side of the pistol as well as on the front of the slide under the muzzle. The wooden grips exhibit very little wear and retain almost all of their original military oil finish and have sharp checkering. The pistol is housed in an original "ftc/1941" leather holster which has light surface scuffs and crazing along the flex points. Also, two Waffenamt marked magazines (one blued with a legible stamp, the other phosphate finished with a barely visible stamp) are included. A fine Second World War pistol overall.
