Colt Woodsman First Model Match Target Pistol

serial #MT5185, 22 LR, 6 5/8" barrel with a bright excellent bore. This 1940 production pistol remains in wonderful original condition. Metal surfaces retain 98% plus strong original blue finish. The original checkered walnut "elephant ear" grips with Colt medallions rate excellent plus. Pistol comes with its original, very crisp two-tone magazine which bears proper markings. The pistol remains in its original one piece purple box which is numbered to the gun in pencil on bottom. Included in the box is the original instruction sheet, Colt's "shooting suggestions" pamphlet and the Stevens adjustable rear sight yellow hang tag.
