Smith & Wesson Model 1899 Army Revolver

serial #13250, 38 Long Colt, 6" barrel with an excellent bore. This revolver has matching numbers on the barrel, cylinder, and extractor and is stamped with Kelly S. Morse's inspector mark ("K.S.M.") on the rear of the frame, rear face of the cylinder, and barrel flat. The metal has 95% of the original blue remaining with silvering at the muzzle and along the projecting edges of the frame, some plum-brown flaking on the cylinder, and a small area of tiny peen marks just above the logo on the sideplate. The hammer and trigger have strong original case colors and the "K.S.M." and "J.T.T./1901" (John T. Thompson) stamped grips are numbered to the gun on the interior of the right side panel and are in fine shape with sharp checkering and only a few very minor handling marks in the original finish.
