serial #406646, .30 GOV'T '06, 24" round barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel retains 95-97% original blue finish. The action retains about 70% original blue finish with loss due to flaking and with those areas turned to a pleasing smooth brown patina. The checkered straight grip walnut stocks are beautifully figured and retain 95% of their original "extra" finish. Rifle is equipped with standard sporting front and two leaf folding rear barrel sights along with proper "WR" coded Lyman 21 receiver sight. Overall a lovely deluxe 1895 Winchester rifle.
