serial #344116, 16 ga. by 9.3 x 74R, 23 1/2" barrels choked a tight modified, all three tubes showing excellent bright bores. Quite an interesting gun, this minty drilling exhibits "Eagle/N" proofs, and was proofed December 1944. Why this gun has no Luftwaffe markings and didn't end up in a survival kit is anyone's guess. The barrels retain about 99% original blue. Frame retains about 98% original case colors, and retains nearly all of its original lacquer. The scalloped frame has very light scroll and border engraving, as well as sideclips. The gun is equipped with cocking indicators, greener style safety, rifle barrel selector which actuates flip up rear sight, single set rifle trigger and 3/4" sling swivels. The checkered European walnut, pistol grip stock has a rounded cheek piece and a color casehardened steel pistol grip cap, it rates about excellent showing one minor repair to chip at the lower left edge of the left cheek. The splinter style forend rates excellent. Really a lovely wartime produced drilling that saw virtually no use. (1951-4) {C&R} (3500/5500) SOLD FOR $6325.00
