serial #922, 222 Rem, 26 3/4" medium weight barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel retains 99% plus lovely satin finish blue, the frame and lever retain a like amount of lovely restored case colors. The frame and lever have been engraved with top-quality flowing scroll and floral patterns. Stocked in a superb grade of French walnut, the forend features a contrasting rosewood tip and wraparound borderless checkering pattern while the pistol grip is dual panel checkered, also borderless, with a steel Fisher grip and Niedner crescent style checkered buttplate. Wood rates excellent with only one minor ding on the right of butt, as always the work is flawless. The gun wears a Carl Zeiss 6X Zielsechs rifle scope with crosshair reticle and excellent optics. The toe line features an unengraved oval silver monogram plate. The gun is equipped with a single set trigger, which currently does not set but is likely merely an adjustment.
