serial #985303, 25-20 WCF, 22" round barrel with button magazine and an excellent bore. This rifle remains in excellent original condition. The barrel retains 95% strong original blue finish. The action retains 95% bright original blue with most loss being attributed to some light flaking on top of action as well as top tang. The checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with 95% original finish remaining. Lyman beaded blade front and buckhorn rear barrel sights are present. A lovely little 53.
