serial #D 505, 10 ga. blank only, 12" barrel with a good but dirty bore having a few specks of pitting visible. This newer model cannon retains 97% bright chrome finish with a few scattered specks of light pitting and flaking at muzzle. The chrome plated cast iron carriage is marked with the "W.R.A.Co." trademark and a small "B T J" makers mark is stamped just forward of breech. Manufacturers address and the Winchester logo are stamped on side of barrel. Cannon is equipped with rubber tires and black braided cord which is missing small metal pull ring. A nice newer model 98 cannon and about very good condition overall. (1798-17A) (450/650) |
