serial #1776, 348 W.C.F., 24" barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces on this 1936 manufactured rifle retain 97-98% original blue finish. The checkered steel buttplate retains about 93% original blue finish. The capped and checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with some handling marks. This rifle is equipped with the riding bolt peep sight and super grade style sling swivels. A nice honest long tang rifle made during the second year of manufacture.
