serial #179035, 45 LC, 4 3/4" barrel with an excellent bore. This 1898 manufactured revolver has nearly 95% coverage of high quality relief scroll engraving with stippled shading. The triggerguard and top of backstrap show examples of floral engraving while each of the high edges have geometric designs and simple border line engraving. The metal surfaces retain a thinning blue finish turning to a pleasing brown patina while the gripstraps and inside section of triggerguard show more of a dark gray color. This revolver has been professionally fitted with a modern manufactured pair of ivory grips and is housed in a red felt lined hinge top walnut presentation case.
