serial #123790, 30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain about 95% original blue finish, the bulk of the loss being on the bolt handle and bottom metal. The checkered walnut sporter style stock rates very good plus with lots of original varnish, minor dings and dents from light use, and carry wear. The front sight hood is missing and the rear sight has been removed, a blank is in its slot; a Lyman number 48 receiver sight is in place, the stock has been slightly inletted for it.
