US Model 1816 Flintlock Musket by Harpers Ferry

69 caliber, 42" round barrel with a good bore. The lock and barrel are properly marked and inspected with lock bearing a date of 1826 and the barrel date being no longer visible. The barrel is an even gray patina with scattered mostly light pitting. The lock is more brown with just a little very fine pitting. The stock rates good plus as refinished with light handling marks still visible. Edges are somewhat worn and only faint remnants of a cartouche is visible. Musket remains in original flintlock configuration with correct steel ramrod in place. (1938-37) {ANTIQUE} (1000/1500) SOLD FOR $1265.00
