serial #156245, 33 W.C.F., 24" nickel steel round barrel with a very good bore. The metal surfaces on this 1919 manufactured rifle retain 99% added quality hot immersion blue finish. The upper left side of the receiver shows four hazy slightly discolored circles where threaded screws were added at one point in time and filled in prior to bluing. The lightly sanded and refinished straight grip walnut buttstock and forend rate about very good with slightly proud metal around the tangs. A 1" long somewhat oval shaped inlay of mother-of-pearl has been added to the belly of the forend. The rear sight is a non-factory folding leaf replacement.
