serial #1552406, 30 W.C.F., 24" barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and magazine tube retain 97% thinning original blue finish. The barrel proof mark appears to have been double stamped. The receiver on this 1949 manufactured rifle retains about 65% evenly thinning original blue finish while the belly of the receiver bears a soft gray gunmetal color. The receiver also shows some scattered light rust staining specks. The buttplate has been professionally refinished. The capped and checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and forend rate very good to near excellent with light handling marks and perhaps 93% original varnish remaining.
