serial #40882, 38 Special, 6 1/2" barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this N frame revolver have 96-97% original blue finish remaining. The trigger and hammer have nearly all of their original case colors remaining with light wear to the trigger. The checkered S&W medallion grips show very little wear and a few minor dings along the butt. Factory grip liners are installed.
