serial #709, 50 caliber rimfire, 30" round barrel with a bright very good bore having some light pitting present. The receiver and buttplate are mostly a dark gray color with lots of mellowed original case colors blending through. The remaining metal surfaces retain about 40% thinning original blue finish with a few scattered specks of older rust and the balance bearing a pleasing brown patina. The receiver/frame section of this rifle has a few blunt dings and scratches. The straight grip walnut buttstock and forend rate near excellent except for a couple short cracks behind the tang and the commonly seen crack on the left side covering the magazine tube.
