serial #126554, 33 W.C.F., 24" nickel steel round barrel with a very good bore except for a light ring three inches from the muzzle which is barely noticeable externally.  The barrel and magazine tube retain about 85% thinning original blue finish with the balance bearing a pleasing light brown patina.  The remaining metal surfaces on this 1902 manufactured rifle retain 50-55% thinning original blue finish blending with a brownish gray patina.  The metal surfaces have a few scattered specks of older rust and light scratches present.  The hammer retains lots of strong original case colors while the lever has equally strong case colors but limited mostly to the protected areas.  The straight grip walnut buttstock and forend rate very good with light dings and handling marks.  This rifle is equipped with a Lyman No. 4 ivory hunting front sight, sporting rear sight, and hard rubber buttplate.  (2011-15) {C&R} [Dom Morin Collection]   (1500/2000) SOLD FOR $1955.00
