serial #159838, 33 W.C.F., 24" nickel steel round barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and magazine tube retain 85% thinning original blue finish. The remaining metal surfaces on this 1930s manufactured rifle show a brownish gray mix with a few specks of older rust and 25-30% thinning original blue finish remaining. The straight grip walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with a few light handling marks and 97% original varnish remaining. This rifle is equipped with a Lyman No. 4 ivory hunting front sight, flat top sporting rear sight, and a Lyman No. 2A tang peep sight.
