serial #1483422, 219 Zipper, 26" barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and magazine tube retain 99% original blue finish. The receiver on this 1948 manufactured rifle retains 98% of what could easily pass for a factory restored blue finish. The checkered steel buttplate retains about 75% thinning original blue finish. The capped and checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and forend rate near excellent with a few light handling marks. There is an unfortunate ding on the top of the barrel just ahead of the rear sight, likely done when someone was trying to remove the sight. A fine rifle in a rare caliber.
