Smith & Wesson 44 Hand Ejector 2nd Model Target Revolver

serial #38875, 44 Special, 6 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.  The revolver has matching numbers on the cylinder, barrel, and extractor star with the metal having 95-97% of the original blue that has some minor silvering along the projecting edges as well as a turn ring around the cyilinder.  The front Patridge blade has been nicely milled on the back to brighten it up, while the rear target sight is the early two screw variant.  The checkered, diamond center, medallion grips are numbered to the gun on the inside of the right panel and are in fine shape with very little wear or handling marks in the original finish.  This is a near excellent pre-World War II, N-frame S&W target revolver overall.  (2051-2) {C&R}     (1500/2000) SOLD FOR $1495.00
