serial #71-12478, 416 Taylor, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a "200th Year of American Liberty" marked, tang safety equipped rifle which has virtually all of the original blue and a mint, highly figured, Circassian stock with red Ruger recoil pad. The rifle is housed in its original white cardboard box with manual and a small red flannel bag with scope rings. Less than 50 rifles were made in 416 Taylor until it was discontinued in 1976, fewer than a dozen were stocked in Circassian walnut making this a truly rare Ruger and a must-have for the collector.
