serial #180415, 20 ga. (2 1/2"), 26" barrels choked cylinder and modified with excellent bores. Barrels retain about 99% later, excellent quality rust blue. The 0 size frame retains about 15% original casecolors, the balance fading to a pleasing pewter patina with some very minor oxidation staining on the belly. The triggerguard as well shows a quality reblue. The gun was masterfully restocked by Dietrich Appel some years ago in a nice grade of English walnut. The buttstock features flawless, borderless checkering panels and has retained the original Parker Brothers grip cap; forend is a beavertail style with a very nice wraparound checkering pattern. Length of pull to the 1/2" old English pad is 14 1/4" with drops of a 1 1/2" and 2 1/4". Buttstock has roughly 1/4" of cast-off. Lock up is nice and tight.
