serial #78163, .30-03, 24" round barrel with a slightly dark bore that shows strong, clear rifling. The barrel of his rifle retains 80% evenly thinning original blue finish. The action retains a mottled mix of original blue, added cold blue and gray patina. The plain walnut stocks rate excellent with a little added light finish present. Rifle is equipped with a beaded blade front sight, semi-buckhorn rear and Lyman 38 windage adjustable tang peep sight.
