serial #5357, 30-06, 22" barrel with an excellent bore. Metal surfaces on this top-quality sporting rifle retain about 99% rust blue finish. The English walnut stock is classic style with rounded shadowline cheekpiece, features some lovely grain and rates excellent. The stock has a nice wrap-around forend checkering pattern as well as a wraparound grip pattern. The butt wears a checkered Niedner steel crescent style plate with a Fisher style steel grip cap. The floorplate has been converted to quick release lever style. Front features a sporting banded, hooded ramp with express style rear sight featuring one standing and three folding leaves, already shot-in and regulated. While unmarked, the quality of workmanship is excellent. The rear bridge has been square-topped and checkered ala "Brevex" style actions. A wonderfully crafted sporter by a talented riflesmith.
