serial #128284, 33 W.C.F., 24" nickel steel round barrel with an excellent bore. This 1903 manufactured rifle is in its original configuration other than the sights and factory style sling eyes. This rifle has been professionally reconditioned overall and is likely the work of Doug Turnbull. The barrel, half length magazine tube, loading gate, and breechblock retain all of their deep blue finish while the remaining metal surfaces are color case hardened. The capped and checkered pistol grip fancy walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with a couple light handling marks. This rifle is equipped with a Lyman No. 6 folding leaf rear sight and close coupled double set triggers.
