Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe Lightweight Takedown Rifle

serial #158537, 45-70 Govt., 24" nickel steel round barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and half length magazine tube retain 99% added high quality blue finish. The takedown collar has been cleaned to a gunmetal gray color. The receiver on this 1920 manufactured rifle retains about 80% thinning original blue finish with a few faint specks of light pitting on the upper left side. The capped and checkered pistol grip fancy walnut buttstock and forend rate very good to near excellent with handling marks and 90% original finish remaining. This barrel was originally chambered for 33 W.C.F. and is so marked on the underside while the exposed caliber marking has been professionally removed and replaced with the new designation.
