serial #72455, 44 W.C.F., 24" round barrel with a bright excellent bore. This is a very fine 1892 rifle manufactured in 1894. The barrel and magazine tube retain 99% original blue finish with one very small spot of light light pitting on the barrel near the address. The receiver retains 95% strong original blue finish with a spot of similarly light pitting on the belly that has been unfortunately cleaned and touched up with cold blue finish. Each of the receiver screws are factory color case hardened and in perfect condition except for the rear tang screw head which is slightly misshapen. The hammer, lever, and crescent buttplate retain lots of strong original case colors. The straight grip walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with all of their original finish and just a few light handling marks present.
