serial #20163, 348 W.C.F., 20" barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and magazine tube retain 98% original blue finish. The receiver on this 1941 manufactured carbine retains 96-97% original blue finish with the loss located primarily on the loading gate and lever. The checkered steel buttplate has a grayish brown gunmetal color with traces of original blue remaining. The capped and checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and forend rate very good to near excellent with light handling marks and about 90% original varnish remaining. A short crack is located behind the tang. The front sight hood is missing and the front sight blade is a Redfield replacement. The rear sight has been replaced with a slot blank.
