serial #53471, 12ga., 30" barrel choked I.C. with a near good to fair bore showing moderate and light pitting its full length. Barrel and magazine tube retain an even mix of deep gray fading and toning to a light brown and gray, showing a few areas of minor oxidation and perhaps a handful of minor pits. The frame retains about 70% original casecolors toning to pewter gray with some minor oxidation staining, the lever is mostly a gray- brown. The smooth, rounded pistol grip buttstock and both forend panels rate near excellent showing only minor dings and dents, they have a rich red-russet hue and are very pleasing. Manufactured 1893.
