Both triggers are adjustable for weight of pull. The head of the wedge is somewhat broken off on one of the pistols. One ramrod thimble appears to be resoldered, a very long time ago. Both barrels show a very small area of pitting on their left barrel flat, in the exact spot wherer they rest on a rib inside the case. Locks are mechanically functional and crisp. The inside of the case shows a couple small repairs to the lining, the lining appears original. The exterior of the case has been refinished quite some time ago. Inside the case we find a solid mahogany, brass tipped cleaning rod, a selection of lead balls, the key to the case, an Ely Brothers cap tin, a selection of patches, bullet mold and a ribbed pistol flask with fixed spout and common top.
