serial #54836, 30 Mauser, 5 1/2" barrel with a fine bore. This is an all matching pistol which retains 97% of the original blue which exhibits some mild silvering along some of the exposed edges and along the stock slot as well as a few small spots of white metal along the bottom of the barrel. The extractor, rear sight elevator, bolt stop, and safety have 90-95% of their original fire bluing, and the trigger has about 90% original straw color remaining. The hammer and bolt are dull gray with some mild freckling just starting to appear. The 34 groove wooden grips are in fine shape with only a few very minor handling marks visible, mostly around the butt. The pistol comes with a matching numbered wooden holster-stock which has been refinished to excellent on both the metal and the wood.
