serial #7490, .410 bore, 26" barrels with bright excellent bores choked cylinder and full. The barrels were originally Nitro proved at 2 1/2" 3 1/4 tons and were reproofed for 3" 5 tons. The action features full coverage English scroll engraving with "WATSON BROS." in riband each side. The barrels retain 98% excellent British quality black finish. The frame retains 75% original color casehardened finish which is bright in protected areas and more subdued in more exposed areas. The floorplate of action retains 98% restored blue finish. The triggerguard retains 98% restored blue finish which has turned to a plum color. The checkered straight grip buttstock and splinter forend are of beautifully figured English walnut and retain 98% superb quality oil finish with sharp checkering. Shotgun handles beautifully at 4 lbs. 3 oz. with a 13 7/8" pull over grooved butt and has drops of 1 3/8" and 1 5/8".
